Pratas, o Conquistador

Synopsis

A Lisbon replica of Charlot, Pratas looks for new lovers as soon as he leaves home. After his first failures in his street, Pratas heads to Terreiro do Paço where he acrobatically climbs onto a streetcar heading to Belém. The stunt earns him a chase from the police, which he manages to lose in a garden. He tries to conquer another love, once again failed by the intervention of an alert husband. Another chase and Pratas loses the police in another garden, and meets the “lady of the crates”. Shortly afterwards, they are both arrested but Pratas manages to escape from the police station and, in the last shot, finds refuge inside the Chiado Terrasse cinema.
