Synopsis
The capitalist João Esmoriz is burnt to death in a car crash, which the police believe to be of criminal origin. At the victim's house, Inspector Moisés carries out a thorough examination of details, possible antecedents and the psychological effects of the case. One by one, the suspects are gathered and, through their statements, reactions and potential compromises, which go back to the revelation of obscure parts of Esmoriz's life, a suspicion grows in Moisés' mind and, from an apparently insignificant detail, he finally uncovers the truth, simple but unexpected.
