Synopsis
The trajectory of a political prisoner, from the trial imposed by the judicial system, through the beating by PIDE agents and the escape by sea. The film also portrays the solidarity and comradeship among prisoners, as well as the repression of the penitentiary system. It is based on the famous solitary escape of Dias Lourenço, a political prisoner held at the Fort of Peniche.
