Synopsis
The work and life of Wenceslau de Moraes - a Portuguese writer from the Far East. Testimonies, photographs, contemporary films and images of Lisbon, Macau, Kobe and Tokushima from the time of Moraes are compared with his texts and the fiction of A Ilha dos Amores. Places where the author's memory lives on are illustrated, along with interviews of family members, acquaintances and scholars.
