Synopsis
A film about a family from Vilar de Perdizes who emigrated to the United States, settling in New Bedford, New England, “where the memory of Moby Dick still lingers” and where 60% of the population is of Portuguese origin. Filmed over two years, the film follows the lives of a couple who settled there twenty years ago and their nine children, cousins of those the author filmed in 1976 and who are Portuguese in the process of becoming Americanized.
