Synopsis
A temporary change of identity leads to a social transformation when Daniel, a young man from a wealthy family, rents a room in a boarding house where the orphan girl he falls in love with lives. Daniel's aunt reveals his true identity, which causes a great deal of trouble in the relationship between him and Luisinha, as he is a nobleman. In the end, Daniel and the girl go to live together in his house on the outskirts of Lisbon.
