Synopsis
Chronicle of the occupation of land in Quebradas. Pela Razão que Têm involves film crews moving from urban areas to the countryside in an attempt to capture the revolutionary process underway, PREC, in rural regions. Land occupation was extremely severe in the Alentejo region. The people of Quebradas claimed that the land they were renting had been stolen from them by an unfair expropriation, so after the Revolution they proceeded to occupy it and organized themselves into a cooperative structure.
