Synopsis
António is appointed bull marshal of Quinta de Vilar do Tejo by its owner, Belinha, in accordance with his father's wishes. As soon as he is passed over, a former major, Miguel, hates António. That being the case, he plans with Fernando - a cynical administrator and Belinha's suitor - an ingenious and cruel way to take revenge on António, which leads to dangerous accidents and inflames emotions.
